Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw for CHANEL Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign | Styled by Carine Roitfeld

Joan Smalls for David Yurman
When Carine Roitfeld left Paris Vogue, it was like we were free-falling in a cold, black abyss. To imagine this land without Carine at the helm of the Fashion Bible was like staring into a black crystal ball—or the eyes of Death. Was there to be no more Carine Street Style at the Paris shows? No more Carine-styled covers or editorials to rub against our cheeks? It was a whole new world, and one we didn't think we wanted to live in.

But we shouldn't have feared. Paris Vogue didn't make Carine Roitfeld, and it couldn't unmake her. After spending a ridiculously short time collecting herself and switching gears, the former editrix jumped right back into it. She started styling up a storm for V, Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy; she started modeling for Barney's, W, and i-D; she even announced that she was developing her own quarterly fashion magazine. And now, she's been hired by Karl Lagerfeld to style a second Chanel campaign. Carine Roitfeld is nothing if not in our faces.

She and the Kaiser shot the Spring/Summer 2012 Chanel campaign over the weekend at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. Karl Lagerfeld might have kept Carine onboard, but he replaced a familiar face: Freja Beha Erichsen shot Chanel's last five campaigns, but she'll no longer be fronting the brand. The Spring 2012 ads will star Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw . See you on the flipside, Freja!

Porsche Panamera Stingray GTR with Crocodile and Gold Interior

Porsche Panamera Crocodille Stingray GTR 1

Top Car, a Moscow-based tuning company just unveiled this beautiful Porsche Panamera Stingray GTR Crocodile model.

The stunning customized model comes with Stingray GTR bodykit which consists of new front and rear bumpers, a bulging hood, front and rear fender extenders, side skirts and modified front and rear doors. The package also features ADV.1 Ultra-light forged rims.
The amazing interior designed is made of a cabin outfitted with premium leather seats and authentic crocodile leather on the dashboard, center console and armrest. Elsewhere, there’s beautiful Karelian birch wood trim and gold accents which are applied on everything from the pedals to the window switches. At the back, the sun-roof panel, AC vents, side door handles have used the same patterned birch wood, and outlining with gold, which one might notice in the AC control buttons as well. The foldable seat and booting area too have been enveloped in white crocodile leather and hand-stitched to perfection. Just to take away the monotony, the seats belts in both areas are a classic racy red.
Overall, the upgrades have cost the owner 150 000 € (about 202 000 $). The TopCar Porsche Panamera Stingray costs a cool 423 810 € (about570 000 $). The Panamera Stingray GTR Crocodile will be a limited-run of only 25 copies.

The following Rolex advertorial ran on the cover of the London Daily Mail Newspaper on November 24, 1927, and it showcased the Rolex Oyster along with Mercedes Gleitze.
