Kanye West Pulls Out the Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss “James Bond Style”

Kanye West is doing his best James Bond impression while out in France for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Earlier in the week we featured him being chauffered in a Maybach Landaulet convertible sedan accompanied by two beautiful women. And if that wasn’t enough, yesterday he arrived to an event behind the wheel of a Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss (about $1,050,000). Styled in a tuxedo, Kanye was joined by his good friend Virgil Abloh in black Lanvin sunglasses sitting in the passenger side. “Mr. West is in the building. Swagger on a hundred, thousand, trillion” (West).

Ryan Gosling in Salvatore Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2011

Actor Ryan Gosling attended the photo call for his new film “Drive” during the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival dressed head-to-toe in Salvatore Ferragamo. Louis Vuitton opens pop-up store in Cannes

On the occasion of the Cannes International Film Festival, Louis Vuitton has opened a pop-up store on the Croisette. Next to its existing Cannes store, the temporary shop focuses on what the town is famous for incredible films and elegant eveningwear.

“The Maison celebrates its attachment to the city of Cannes by unveiling an exceptional custom tailored store in homage to the world of cinema.”

The store’s long central passageway evokes a pier, whilst screens embedded in the walls broadcast scenes which conjure a French-Riviera-meets-Twenties-Shanghai feel.

The collection itself is displayed within three distinct sections : Cocktail Party by the Pool, Iconic Evening and Evening Grand Soir.

Following through the promenade, a garden courtyard can be seen at the far end.

“Our new Cannes pop-up store, embedded in the Festival and Côte d’Azur ambience, brings an alternative and exceptional offer to our clients visiting Cannes during the Festival as well as during the summer,” Yves Carcelle – president, chairman and ceo of Louis Vuitton – said.
