Virgil Abloh in Givenchy Fall 2011 Rottweiler Sweater and Kanye West in Front Row at Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2012 Show

Kanye West who was a no show during NY Fashion week was spotted front row alongside his creative advisor Virgil Abloh at the Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2012 show at London Fashion Week. Kanye rocked a white T by Alexander Wang (seen below in a sand color $82), destroyed denim jeans, and Air Jordan retro 1 sneakers. Virgil Abloh wore a Just Don Tampa Bay Buccaneers snakeskin cap, a Givenchy Fall 2011 Rottweiler sweater, destroyed denim jeans, and brown suede Balenciaga sneakers ($545).

Virgil Abloh, Kanye West's Style Adviser, on His Fashion Inspirations for Fall

Chicagomag.com was privileged enough to catch up with Kanye West’s full time creative/art advisor Virgil Abloh for an exclusive interview. For the last seven years Mr. Abloh has played a key role in building the Kanye West brand as his input is required on everything from live shows to the designing of limited-edition sneakers. In the behind the scenes video the Chicago native takes us shopping to the lifestyle boutique RSVP Gallery (which he owns along with Marc Moran and Don C) as well as the men’s boutique Apartment Number 9 where he picks out several standout pieces and discusses men’s trends and fall fashion inspirations. Kanye West Pulls Out the Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss “James Bond Style”

Kanye West is doing his best James Bond impression while out in France for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Earlier in the week we featured him being chauffered in a Maybach Landaulet convertible sedan accompanied by two beautiful women. And if that wasn’t enough, yesterday he arrived to an event behind the wheel of a Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss (about $1,050,000). Styled in a tuxedo, Kanye was joined by his good friend Virgil Abloh in black Lanvin sunglasses sitting in the passenger side. “Mr. West is in the building. Swagger on a hundred, thousand, trillion” (West).
